Architect Vedat Tek Culture and Art Center

The center, a rich space offering a different perspective on history, was opened on October 31, 2008. The center includes a Republican House, Hat and Lace Museum which is the first of its kind in Turkey, Atatürk Exhibition Hall, Baby Hall and a Picture Gallery.

The center was named after Architect Vedat Tek who built, among other things, the Kastamonu Governor's Office. The center's name is a nod to the architect for future generations.
